Kids
Kampus enters the 21st century with the most comprehensive
Information
Technology program for kids to become the first model “techy”
preschool in not only Pakistan but Asia to obtain the exclusive partnership
with the Fourth R.
Our aim is to provide every child, from KG through to Year 1, with
the opportunity to experience and explore the virtual world through
technology. We want to provide our children with a confidence and
competence when working with electronic equipment and technology,
so that they are more able to work in the digital world of the future.
Children often perceive working on the computer as a game, something
that is fun, but for the teacher it is just another teaching tool,
like books and pencils, with which to develop children's minds and
to enhance and extend their learning.
Our computer lab is well-equipped, with Latest Pentium computers and
other facilities which enable students to do word processing, information
access, graphical productions and other functions.
The computers are used to encourage reading and writing, to help to
develop problem solving skills, and to encourage co-operation and
team work. We use children friendly software, with attractive graphics,
animation and sound to engage the attention and stimulate young minds.
The children have access to colour printers so that they are able
to see their finished drawings and stories in print. They have the
opportunity to learn to draft and review work completed, while learning
about storing and retrieving information. The children like to use
both the keyboard and the mouse, and are exposed to computer vocabulary
from an early age.
